1U PCs
The advantage 1U PCs have over other models is they use the least amount of rack space. 1 space or 1U PCs can be built for one purpose only such as DJing, to run visualization, or to run DMX lights. Generally we use these PCs to build a DJ only system, no Karaoke or music videos. These PC cannot be used for Karaoke or music videos because they have only a single video output for the LCD display only.

1U14 - 1U Size 14" Deep
This PC has a single hard drive and a single CD/DVD drive. This PC can be used to build a small system and is used in our Mini Systems.

1U14-2HD - 1U Size 14" deep, two hard drive bays
This is the same as the 1U14 system but with two hard drives instead of one hard drive and one CD. You can attach a USB CD/DVD for ripping, copying, and burning.

2U PCs
The advantage 2U PCs have over 1U models is more capacity - more hard drives and CD/DVD drives and more adapter (sound or video) cards. 2 space or 2U PCs can be built to do multiple things at once. Examples are running intelligent lights and DJing at the same time, or DJing and playing Karaoke. Our 2 space PCs can have dual video outputs for the KJ or VJ. 2U PCs can have more hard drive space than a 1 space PC to hold more media files.

2U13 - 2U Size 13" deep, one CD/DVD drive bay
This PC has room for one CD/DVD drive and two hard drives. This PC is used in really short cases such as the SKB DJ Shuttle.

2U17-1 - 2U Size 17" deep, one CD/DVD drive bay
This PC has room for five drives total and up to four hard drives and one CD/DVD drive. The 2U17 PCs are what most people want and they can be used for DJ, KJ, and VJ work and are still light and small.

2U17-2 - 2U Size 17" deep, two CD/DVD drive bays
This PC has room for four drives total and up to three hard drives and up to two CD/DVD drives. The 2U17 PCs are what most people want and they can be used for DJ, KJ, and VJ work and are still light and small.

2U19 - 2U Size 19" deep
This PC has room for four drives. It has two 3 1/2" and two 5 1/4" drive bays for four drives total. It can hold one, two, or three hard drives and one or two CD/DVD drives. This PC is generally used in clubs only as it is too deep for most mobile racks.

3UPCs
The advantage 3U PCs have over 2U models is more space for adapter (sound, video, or other PCI) cards. Because of this, 3 rack space or 3U PCs are used to build multi-zone media PCs as you can have more audio and video outputs.

3U16-1 - 3U Size 16" deep, one CD/DVD drive bay
This PC has room for three drives. It has two 3 1/2" and one 5 1/4" drive bays for three drives total. It can hold one, or two hard drives and one CD/DVD drives. A 3U PC is picked when you need more adapter cards, more soundcards, or multiple video cards.

This PC has room for three drives. It has one 3 1/2" and two 5 1/4" drive bays for three drives total. It can hold one, or two hard drives and one or two CD/DVD drives. A 3U PC is picked when you need more adapter cards, more soundcards, or multiple video cards.
